SHIPPING POLICY
Shipping policy
Effective: July 9, 2026
All products sold by Coastal Vanguard LLC are supplied strictly for laboratory research and in-vitro investigation. Products are not medications, are not approved by the FDA for human consumption, and are not sold for administration to humans or animals.
1. Cold-chain packaging
All orders ship in validated cold-chain packaging: an insulated EPS shipper with refrigerated gel packs designed to hold the product at 2–8°C for at least 48 hours in transit. Each shipment includes a temperature indicator on the outside of the package. The Buyer should check the indicator on receipt and document any breach for replacement under the Refund Policy.
2. Dispatch days
Orders ship Monday through Wednesday only. We do not ship Thursday through Sunday, to avoid weekend in-transit dwell time without temperature-controlled storage. Orders placed after 12:00 PM ET on Wednesday will be held until the following Monday.
3. Transit times
Domestic (U.S.) orders typically arrive within 1–3 business days from dispatch. We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states; Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico require an additional 1–2 business days. International shipping is not available at this time.
4. Address correction
The Buyer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If a package is returned to Coastal Vanguard LLC because of an address error or an unclaimed delivery, the Buyer is responsible for the cost of re-shipment.
5. Signature and ID
A signature is required at delivery for all orders over $500. The recipient must be the named Buyer or an authorized institutional representative at the address on file. Government-issued photo ID may be requested at the carrier’s discretion.
6. Research-use-only labeling
The exterior of every shipment is labeled “Research Use Only — Not For Human Consumption.” The product insert and the Certificate of Analysis inside the package reinforce the research-use-only designation. The Buyer is responsible for maintaining the original documentation in their research records.
7. Tracking
Every order receives a unique carrier tracking number, which is emailed to the Buyer at dispatch and is also available on the Track Order page using the order number. Tracking is updated in real time by the carrier.
8. Damaged shipments
If a shipment arrives damaged or with a compromised temperature indicator, see the Refund Policy for replacement procedures. Photographic documentation within 48 hours of receipt is required.
