Refund & return policy

Effective: July 9, 2026

1. Research-grade product nature

Coastal Vanguard LLC supplies research-grade peptide vials sold strictly for laboratory research and in-vitro investigation. These products are not medications, are not approved by any regulatory body for human or veterinary administration, and are sold under a research-use-only label. The statements in this policy apply to research-buyer purchases of these products.

2. Cancellation window

A buyer may cancel an order within 24 hours of placement, provided the order has not yet shipped. To cancel, contact caredesk@coastalvanguard.org with the order number. Refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5 business days.

3. Damaged or incorrect shipments

If a vial arrives damaged, broken, or with a compromised cold-chain indicator, we will replace it at no charge. Photograph the package and the vial within 48 hours of receipt and email the photos to caredesk@coastalvanguard.org. A replacement will ship on the next outbound shipping day (Monday–Wednesday).

If the wrong SKU is shipped, we will ship the correct SKU at no charge and provide a prepaid label for the return shipment of the incorrect SKU. Returns do not need to be opened for inspection.

4. Quality issues

If the Certificate of Analysis reports identity, HPLC purity, or endotoxin levels that do not match the lot documentation, the buyer may request a refund or replacement within 30 days of receipt. We will initiate a refund once the lot in question is returned to our quality-control queue for re-test.

5. Refunds method and timing

All refunds are credited to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on the buyer's card issuer. Square processing fees are not refunded to the buyer (this is a Square platform constraint, not a Coastal Vanguard LLC choice).

6. Non-refundable situations

The following are non-refundable:

  • Vials that have been opened or used for any purpose.
  • Vials returned more than 30 days after receipt without a documented quality issue.
  • Custom-coordinated research-only procurement for which return was specifically waived in writing.
  • Shipping charges on orders with free or discounted shipping that became free only after the discount was applied.
